Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
JHK Consulting, doing business as GoSeniors ("we," "us," "our"), operates GoSeniors — an AI assistant ("Maggie") that helps older adults and their families stay connected and get everyday help. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to goseniors.ai and to the GoSeniors service.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide. Name, mobile phone number, email address, and preferred language — provided by you, or by a family member or authorized caregiver inviting you with your agreement. We collect only what we need to provide the service.
Information from your use of the service. Basic operational information such as whether a welcome link was opened, and standard technical data (for example, device or browser type) needed to deliver and secure the service.
Cookies. Our website uses cookies necessary for the site to function, and may use basic analytics to understand overall site usage. We do not use advertising cookies, ad networks, or third-party tracking for marketing purposes.
3. How we use information
We use information only to operate and improve the service:
- To send the welcome link and any service messages you have asked for
- To personalize and provide the GoSeniors assistant
- To respond to questions and provide support
- To maintain the security, reliability, and integrity of the service
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not use personal information for marketing or advertising purposes, and we do not build, rent, or sell marketing lists.
4. How we share information — and what we never do
We do not sell personal information.
We do not share personal information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We do not engage in affiliate marketing, third-party lead generation, or the buying or selling of consumer data.
We share information only in these limited cases:
- Service providers. Vendors who process information on our behalf to deliver the service — for example, our SMS delivery provider — under contract, only as needed to perform that work, and never for their own purposes.
- Legal compliance and safety. Where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, or security of users, the public, or our service.
- Business transfer. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction and will remain subject to this policy.
5. Text message (SMS) program
Participation is optional. Receiving text messages is never required to use GoSeniors, create an account, or complete any transaction. You can use GoSeniors without ever giving us a mobile number.
If you choose to opt in:
- Program: GoSeniors onboarding and service messages — typically a one-time welcome message with a personalized link, plus occasional service messages.
- Message frequency: Low and transactional. Frequency varies.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Opt out: Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages.
- Help: Reply HELP, or contact jim.kaskade@goseniors.ai.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
No sharing of mobile information. We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers, SMS consent, or message opt-in information to any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used solely to operate the GoSeniors messaging described above, and is disclosed only to the service providers that deliver those messages on our behalf.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law, and then delete or de-identify it.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
- Reply STOP to stop text messages at any time.
- Contact us at jim.kaskade@goseniors.ai to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to ask a question about this policy.
- California residents: you may request access to or deletion of your personal information, and may ask about the categories we collect and disclose. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, so no opt-out of sale is necessary. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
9. Children's privacy
GoSeniors is intended for adults and older adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the current version.
