Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance
By using GoSeniors or any service provided by JHK Consulting ("we," "us"), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. The service
JHK Consulting, doing business as GoSeniors, provides GoSeniors — an AI assistant ("Maggie") that helps older adults and their families stay connected and get everyday help. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.
3. Eligibility
GoSeniors is intended for use by adults, or by an older adult with the assistance of a family member or authorized caregiver. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to provide any phone number or personal information you give us.
4. Text message (SMS) program
Participation is optional. Receiving text messages is never required to use GoSeniors, create an account, or complete any transaction. You can use GoSeniors without ever giving us a mobile number.
If you choose to opt in:
- Program: GoSeniors onboarding and service messages — typically a one-time welcome message containing a personalized link, plus occasional service messages.
- Message frequency: Low and transactional. Frequency varies.
- Cost: Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile plan.
- Opt out: Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You may receive a confirmation.
- Help: Reply HELP, or contact jim.kaskade@goseniors.ai.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Consent is specific to this program and is given directly to GoSeniors. It is not bundled into any other agreement, and withdrawing it does not affect your access to the service.
We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers, SMS consent, or message opt-in information to any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used solely to operate the GoSeniors messaging described above, and is disclosed only to the service providers that deliver those messages on our behalf.
5. No third-party marketing
We do not engage in affiliate marketing, third-party lead generation, or the buying or selling of consumer data. We do not send marketing or promotional messages on behalf of other companies, and we do not use your information to build or sell marketing lists.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use GoSeniors unlawfully, to harass or harm others, to submit another person's phone number without their agreement, or to attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the service.
7. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
8. Not a medical, emergency, or caregiving service
GoSeniors is a general-purpose assistant. It is not a medical device, does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice, and is not an emergency service. Never rely on GoSeniors in an emergency — call 911 or your local emergency number. GoSeniors does not replace professional care, supervision, or medical judgment.
9. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that messages will always be delivered.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JHK Consulting will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The effective date above reflects the current version; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
